We are G.R.E.A.N.

G.R.E.A.N. (Grassroots Environmental Action Now) is Pacific Lutheran University’s environmental advocacy group.  G.R.E.A.N. actively works to promote and educate PLU students and the community on environmental issues, organize on-campus campaigns to increase sustainability, and partner with local nonprofit organizations and other groups at PLU.

Club meets most Thursdays 8:30-9:00* PM in Hong 246

*Yeah, that’s a super short meeting! We want GREAN club to be open to anyone and everyone, and that includes busy (or lazy) students.

Don’t let this website intimidate you, the president barely threw it together. This isn’t a club just for hardcore activists (although if you are one, that’s cool). We don’t even expect you to know anything about the environment when you show up.

Feel free to give us a try, you can just show up to one of those meetings or maybe talk to us at a campus event.

The best option, if you are interested, is to sign up for our email list:
